My Story
I have completed both an undergraduate and a master’s degree in English Literature, where I studied the beauty and depth of language through stories and poetry. My love for storytelling is what inspires my teaching; I believe that learning a language isn’t just about grammar and vocabulary, but about connecting with people, cultures, and ideas.
As an English teacher, I’ve worked with students from all over the world, helping them build confidence and communicate effectively, but I also know firsthand how challenging it can be to learn a new language! I’ve been learning Spanish for a while, so I understand the struggles of memorizing new words, getting used to different grammar rules, and finding the courage to speak. That’s why I focus on making my lessons practical and supportive; so you feel comfortable and excited to learn!
Through one-on-one personalized lessons, group classes, and pre-recorded content, I want to help you master English in a way that feels natural and enjoyable. I’m here to guide you every step of the way, and I can’t wait to be part of your language-learning journey!
My Teaching Methodology
My teaching style focuses on helping students speak English naturally and confidently in real life. I use the Comprehensible Input method, which means I teach through clear, natural English that students can understand and grow from step by step.
In practice, this means I speak in a way that is level-appropriate, clear, and natural. I introduce new vocabulary and grammar through context, examples, repetition, and real conversation rather than only through memorization. Students hear English being used in meaningful situations, which helps them understand patterns naturally and remember language more easily.
I also adjust my language depending on the student’s level, gradually increasing difficulty as they improve. This keeps lessons challenging but not overwhelming, so students continue progressing with confidence!
My classes are mainly conversation-based because speaking is the best way to build confidence and fluency. As we talk, I notice grammar mistakes, vocabulary gaps, pronunciation issues, and other pain points, then I help correct them in a natural way during the lesson.
I also use activities like photo descriptions, storytelling, and interesting discussion topics to challenge students and help them think in English!
My goal is to prepare students for real conversations they may face in everyday life, work, travel, and social situations!
